» Feature Writer Mari Nicholson - Jane Austen on TV

In response to Jane Austen on TV posted by hughtaylor:

Hope I'm back from my travels in time to catch the new adaptations. Of course, I know TV dramas are not like reading the source book, but maybe they serve to send people back to the book, a good thing in my eyes.

Re Hugh's remark. Was it in The French Lieutentant's Woman that the Cobb at Lyme Regis was used?

Hope you can keep us posted on upcoming dramas on BBC and ITV.
