This is interesting. I'm looking forward to watching the adaptations. I was rather sad when Billie Piper quit Dr Who. It will be interesting to see how she performs in period Drama.

Wasn't the Cobb at Lymme Regis used as the location in another film a few years ago?

Hope I'm back from my travels in time to catch the new adaptations. Of course, I know TV dramas are not like reading the source book, but maybe they serve to send people back to the book, a good thing in my eyes.

Re Hugh's remark. Was it in The French Lieutentant's Woman that the Cobb at Lyme Regis was used?

Hope you can keep us posted on upcoming dramas on BBC and ITV.

The French Lieutenants Woman. That's the one that was filmed at the Cobb in Lyme Regis. Thanks Mari I've been racking my brains for the answer to that.
